Lonely Planet: “Beautiful Hotel”

Lonely Planet logoWe’ve got another fantastic review, this time from the travel experts at Lonely Planet, who describe our beautiful hotel, The Old Boma, as a “beautifully restored building on a breezy hilltop overlooking the town and Mikindani Bay.  It offers spacious, atmospheric, high-ceilinged doubles and the closest to top-end standards that you’ll find in these parts.  There’s a sunset terrace overlooking the bay, a pool surrounded by bougainvillea bushes and lush gardens, and a restaurant.”

The 10th edition of Lonely Planet: East Africa, published in July 2015, also gives us a “must see” star and “sustainable” recommendations.  We really are a beautiful hotel.  To see some images visit the hotel gallery and hopefully they’ll convince you to come and see for yourself!
