We are delighted to announce that our film, MIKINDANI, has been selected as a finalist in the #bigsynfilmfest26!

The film was made — entirely with voluntary effort — to promote Trade Aid UK’s establishment of a museum (a ‘makumbusho’) in Southern Tanzania. The museum celebrates the culture of the Makonde people in that region. It first opened in 2017.
Thousands of schoolchildren visit the museum each year and they learn to take pride in their history and traditions. In this way they are helped to become more confident in their place in the world. Admission is free of charge.
The film has been selected as part of a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals commitment at the World's biggest sustainability film festival #bigsynfilmfest26.
